Between the mid Sep. and mid Oct., the world witnessed several developments including the holding of a worldwide demonstration protesting several issues including the American hegemony and wars.

In the Middle East, the situation looked as volatile as ever. With never-ending violence in Iraq and an Israeli consistent policy of expansion in Palestinian territories and aggression against the Palestinian people, few are the ones who can see any light at the end of the Middle Eastern tunnel.

October also witnessed mass youth exodus and the beginning of the school year in the region and the world. For this purpose, Alternative highlighted youth behavior and economic situation in Lebanon and the Arab world during this period.
