Former CNN correspondent Peter Arnet, the journalist who exclusively covered the 1991 war on Iraq, has become the correpondent of the Arabia satellite channel in Baghdad during the 2003 war. After completing his 1991 war coverage, Arnet left Baghdad to Tel Aviv where he married a Jewish lady. Arnet was also a correspondent with NBC but was fired following his statements on the current war. Arabia, a subsidiary of the Saudi-owned and London-based MBC television, made lucrative offers thus attracting a group of prominent Arab and foreign journalists.
