Palestinian film festival starts at GW

Alternative Staff

April 2005

WASHINGTON DC -- The Students for Justice in Palestine at the George Washington University in Washington started a month-long film festival.

The activity is aimed at showing Palestinian and Israeli produced films that should reflect a clearer image of the unfolding events in the Middle East, the sponsors said in a  statement. They added that since the American media was not very accurate, such an activity was imperative. The festival started with the showing of the movie Ford Transit.
